Northampton Leisure Trust is celebrating the launch of its new indoor cycling programme by offering two days of FREE taster sessions at Trilogy Health & Fitness Lings Forum this Friday 27 and Saturday 28 February. The sessions will give fitness fanatics of Northampton an opportunity to try the new IC7 bikes and experience exciting new classes such as Coach by Colour, King of the Mountains and Hulk.



Hailed as the world’s most precise power bike, the IC7 bike uses colour zone technology unique to each customer’s fitness level for maximum training efficiency. Following the launch weekend taster sessions, a host of new classes will be added to the MyRide timetable at Lings Forum Leisure Centre.

Stella Barker, Health & Fitness Development Officer at Northampton Leisure Trust, commented “We are really excited to be able to bring the latest in indoor cycling training and equipment to Trilogy Health & Fitness at Lings Forum. We offer both instructor led and virtual classes focusing on a variety of fitness goals. During our taster weekend we will also be welcoming guest instructors from Team ICG and invite people to come along and give these fantastic new classes a try.”

All taster sessions are free and are 30 minutes long. Sessions will be running between 5.30pm – 8pm on Friday 27 and 9am – 12.45pm on Saturday 28 February. There will be a huge variety of activities taking place across Northampton Leisure Trust’s four leisure centres and out in the community this half term, keeping the kids entertained whatever the weather.







Everything from cheerleading and trampolining to Magic Dave at Lings Forum, kids boot camp and street dance at Mounts Baths, badminton and roller skating at Danes Camp and outdoor rugby and football at Duston Sports Centre is on offer. There are also plenty of family fun pool sessions at Danes Camp, Mounts Baths and Lings Forum running alongside swim crash courses. All activities are free to Junior Active members.

For those that require holiday childcare Funzone will be operating for 5-13 year olds across Danes Camp, Duston Sports Centre and Lings Forum.

Northampton Leisure Trust will also be working in the community this half term with Street Football Festivals taking place at Malcolm Arnold Academy School, Tuesday to Thursday, 12pm to 3.30pm. Street Sports sessions will also be taking place at Rectory Farm playing fields, Monday to Friday, 10am-12pm. In addition Play Rangers will be at the Racecourse 1-3pm Monday to Friday offering sports, arts & crafts, den building and much more.
