As well as being delivered in Schools the Healthy Heroes programme is also designed to be delivered in public venues for the benefit of the whole community.

The report below is from a programme funded by Community First in partnership with Bellinge Community Centre and ran for 7 weeks at Lings Forum Leisure Centre.

The programme was successful in delivering a number of positive results in terms of children's weight loss, as well as motivating children and their families to make some really positive healthy lifestyle changes.
