Followng the success of the MEND 7-13 programme and prior to the partnership with Northamptonshire Healthcare Foundation Trust and Alive N Kicking, the Play and Health Development Team developed and delivered their very own healthy lifestyle programme called 'Healthy Heroes'. The latest programme was funded by Community First in partnership with Bellinge Community Centre and ran for 7 weeks at Lings Forum Leisure Centre.

The programme was successful in delivering a number of positive results in terms of children's weight loss, as well as motivating children and their families to make some really positive healthy lifestyle changes.
